Hey everyone!
Today marks the beginning of my journey toward better health. Sharing progress publicly isnβt easy, but accountability keeps me on track. Staying consistent is my main goal, and I hope to share positive results along the way!
My Starting Point
For reference:
β Age: 35
β Height: 6β2β
β Occupation: Truck driver π
β Dad life: Two amazing kids (9 & 2)
Balancing work, family, and health isnβt simple. However, making better choices, one meal at a time, is my priority.
What I Ate Today β Cheeseburger Bowl ππ₯
This morning started with leftovers from last nightβs dinnerβsimple yet satisfying. Instead of a traditional fast-food cheeseburger, I enjoyed a cheeseburger bowl packed with:
β
Romaine lettuce π₯¬ β fresh and crunchy
β
Ground beef π β lean protein for energy
β
Bacon π₯ β because a little indulgence is okay
β
Fresh avocado π₯ β loaded with healthy fats
β
Tomato & onion π
π§
β adding flavor and nutrients
β
Fat-free cheese & fat-free ranch π§ β creamy without the guilt
Packed with protein and healthy fats, this meal kept me energized for the long drive ahead.
My Approach to Health & Eating
Rather than following a strict diet like keto or paleo, Iβm focusing on clean eating and consistency. Instead of tracking every macro, I prioritize better food choices daily. That said, if anyone has tips for truckers trying to stay healthy, Iβd love to hear them!
Challenges Ahead
π Long hours on the road β Finding healthy meals at truck stops is tough.
π Fast food temptations β Itβs everywhere and super convenient.
π¨βπ§βπ¦ Balancing dad life & self-care β Prioritizing myself while managing family life is challenging.
Whatβs Next?
To stay on track, I plan to:
β Keep myself accountable with regular updates
β Choose better meals, even when on the road
β Find simple workouts that fit my schedule
This is just the beginning. Progress wonβt happen overnight, but consistency and effort will make a difference.
Letβs do this! πͺπ₯
