- 1 bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos (crushed)
- 1 can of pizza dough
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup of pepperoni slices (chopped)
- ½ cup of pizza sauce
- ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Cooking spray or melted butter
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Oven and Ingredients
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Crush the Doritos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
Step 2: Prepare the Dough
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into small squares (about 2×2 inches).
- In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese, chopped pepperoni, pizza sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Step 3: Assemble the Rolls
- Place a small amount of the filling mixture in the center of each dough square.
- Fold the corners of the dough to form a ball, ensuring the edges are sealed properly.
- Brush each pizza roll with the beaten egg.
Step 4: Coat with Doritos
- Roll each dough ball in the crushed Doritos until fully coated.
- Place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
Step 5: Bake
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Step 6: Serve
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Serve warm with extra pizza sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
