Doritos Pizza Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos (crushed)
  • 1 can of pizza dough
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup of pepperoni slices (chopped)
  • ½ cup of pizza sauce
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Cooking spray or melted butter

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oven and Ingredients

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. Crush the Doritos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.

Step 2: Prepare the Dough

  1. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  2. Cut the dough into small squares (about 2×2 inches).
  3. In a bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese, chopped pepperoni, pizza sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Step 3: Assemble the Rolls

  1. Place a small amount of the filling mixture in the center of each dough square.
  2. Fold the corners of the dough to form a ball, ensuring the edges are sealed properly.
  3. Brush each pizza roll with the beaten egg.

Step 4: Coat with Doritos

  1. Roll each dough ball in the crushed Doritos until fully coated.
  2. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.

Step 5: Bake

  1. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Step 6: Serve

  1. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
  2. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
