Baked Potato

A classic Baked Potato is crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfect as a side dish or main meal when loaded with your favorite toppings. This simple recipe will help you achieve the perfect baked potato every time!

Ingredients:

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat & Prepare

  1. Preheat your oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt.
  3. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

Step 2: Season the Potatoes

  1. Poke each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.
  2. Rub the potatoes with olive oil or melted butter for a crispy skin.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder if desired.

Step 3: Bake

  1. Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 45-60 minutes, depending on the size of the potatoes, until the skin is crispy and the inside is tender.
