Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup hot fudge sauce, plus extra for drizzling
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
Step 2: Prepare the Batter
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 3: Layer with Hot Fudge
Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Drizzle the hot fudge sauce evenly over the batter.
Pour the remaining batter on top, spreading it evenly.
Step 4: Bake
Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 5: Serve
Drizzle extra hot fudge sauce over the top before serving.
Slice and enjoy with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat!
Tips:
Use high-quality cocoa powder for a richer flavor.
Warm the hot fudge slightly before drizzling for easy layering.
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
To reheat, microwave a slice for 10-15 seconds for a warm, gooey texture.
