Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce, plus extra for drizzling
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Grease a loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
Step 2: Prepare the Batter
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 3: Layer with Hot Fudge
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Drizzle the hot fudge sauce evenly over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter on top, spreading it evenly.
Step 4: Bake
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 5: Serve
- Drizzle extra hot fudge sauce over the top before serving.
- Slice and enjoy with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat!
